Qif plug-in

This plug-in can import data in QIF format.

This plug-in is designed for importing data that has been exported from another accounting program. The QIF format allows importing one account at a time. However, this plug-in attempts to merge the data from multiple imports. For example, a transfer will show up as a credit in one account and a debit in another account. When the second account is imported, the debit in that account will be matched with the credit that had previously been imported, thus only a single transaction results.

Do not use this plug-in to import QIF data from your bank. The reconciliation plug-in is designed for balancing your bank account and has separate support for importing QIF data from a bank.
